Monarch flight endangered
The yearly migratory flight of the monarch is dependent on forests in Mexico. The butterflies use these havens to wait out the cold winter months north of Mexico. University of Kansas professor Chip Taylor, director of Monarch Watch, said the deforestation that threatens the butterflies can be reversed.
