In singleplayer you’ll go through the campaign where you’ll go solo most of the time, with cool briefings by an awesome narrator, and simple objective-based tasks like in Call of Duty. The campaign probably will take you 8 hours to complete, depending on the difficulty level you choose. There isn’t any emotional connection to the campaign’s characters, possibly only the fact that you want to prevent your teammates from dying.
