Arts.21 One of their Own – London Celebrates Handel
George Frederick Handel was a legend in his own time. The Baroque composer traveled widely from his birthplace of Halle, Germany, eventually settling in London. He remained there for the rest of his life, becoming the toast of British society. After four decades of thrilling the British public with his musical genius, Handel died on April 14, 1759 at the age of 74. ARTS.21 travels to the British capital to catch a case of Handel fever.
