EM debt still looks attractive
Patrick Zweifel, chief economist at Pictet Asset Management, on why emerging market debt still looks attractive despite the risk from inflation. Particular emerging market currencies also look interesting, he added. The unfortunate events in Japan have impacted the IT sector in Korea and Taiwan, but present huge opportunities going forward in the construction sector, he said.
