Play Tiger attacks blight Bangladeshi villages
Dozens of fishermen are being killed every year in Bangladesh by man-eating tigers. The families of those who have died are often then treated as outcasts because they’re seen as harbingers of bad luck.Reporter Anbarasan Ethirajan recently went to a village near the Sundarbans forests where the attacks have been happening. He told Rhod Sharp on Up All Night: "The wives of the fishermen who get killed are called tiger-widows... I could find dozens of tiger widows."You can hear other BBC Radio 5 live highlights by visiting the Best Bits section on the website.Up All Night broadcasts seven days a week 0100 - 0400 on BBC Radio 5 live.
