： 民国初年，日寇侵略横行霸道。霍东阁自小由精武门的陈真抚养长大，霍东阁是已故 霍元甲的儿子。陈真去世后精武门逐渐衰退，后霍东阁在码头当搬运工维持生活。爱国义士陈公哲、卢雨亭、姚詹佰等为了救国反日，找到霍东阁以其父为民请命的事迹向他灌输爱国主义思想，教会他武功重振精武门。事后，霍东阁与陈松哲一班爱国义士一起反抗日本的 ，专与日本人作对。为把各阶层人民从日本帝国主义 的苦难中救出，他们 不畏艰苦，不怕牺牲，发扬了精武门的侠义精神。[
