Intel CFO: AMD rivalry still strong
Intel Chief Financial Officer Andy Bryant said lower chip prices due to continued competition from rival Advanced Micro Devices caused margins to decrease last quarter. But Bryant expects margins, a measure closely watched on Wall Street, to rise later this year as global demand for microprocessors used in notebook and desktop computers stay strong.
