NS-FL SEVERE WEATHER
FL:Stormy Weather --Severe weather is having a ripple effect at both South Florida International airports, Thursday. At Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International, there was a ground stop in place. It resulted in several flight delays. As of 4 p.m., officials reported seven arriving flights and eight departures delayed. A ground stop was also in effect at Miami International Airport that has also resulted in several outbound delays. Twenty-four arriving flights were diverted to other regional airports. Groundstops at both airports have been lifted. Meanwhile, residents have also felt the repercussions from the stormy weather. According to FPL, as may as 14,000 customers in Broward are without power while 4,000 in Miami-Dade have no electricity. These were the latest numbers as of 5:30 p.m.##
