Bob Lurie found his episodes of atrial fibrillation very scary, making it difficult for him and his wife Jane to enjoy many activities. He decided to see one of the country’s leading experts, Dr. Marcus Wharton, director of the Frank P. Tourville Arrhythmia Center at MUSC.  Dr. Wharton performed a procedure called an ablation, curing Bob of his arrhythmia and allowing him and his wife to do all the things they used to enjoy once again.
