In February of 2008 Eugene Schwartz was invited to address the AWSNA Midwestern Schools Regional Conference held at the Prairie Hill Waldorf School in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. As inevitably happens when Eugene gives lectures at AWSNA conferences, his outspoken manner and the honesty with which he took on difficult issues created controversy and upset members of the AWSNA leadership.
