I wanted to create a short film with a linear storyline narrated by a voice over and have literal interpretations of the metaphors the narrated used. This allowed me to test out a bunch of effects I’ve been wanting to do for a while. It's also referencing the movie "2001: A Space Odyssey".  Made in June-July 2010. Shot on a Sony XD Cam ex1 (1080p). Entire movie done in Adobe After Effects with the help of Trapcode Particular. No other programs used. I'm quite happy with the result of the "shower scene". Particular was used for the water, and I played with the physics time factor to make it slow down and stop. I'm also happy with the acting of Mounir, he needed little directing and understood quickly what I wanted. Written and directed by Ørjan Trotland. Starring Mounir Sassi.
