The making of Chicago’s "Eye"
The Chicago Tribune follows the creation of the highly anticipated public sculpture "Eye", from Sparta, Wis., where sections of the fiberglass sphere were put together, to downtown Chicago, where the assembly was completed. The 30-foot eyeball, designed by Oak Park artist/sculptor Tony Tasset, is on display from July 7 to October 31.
