After we left the "Tunnel of Love" we went in search of "Vernon’s Clutch Trail" the location of a previous debacle when Tawm and his crew had to tow my broken Triumph rig out of the woods a few years back.  We blew right by the clutch trail and mistakenly chose a torturous narrow track a little too far down the road. At one point I caught a stump with the sidecar wheel and was punted into the manzanita! Eventually we decided it was a bit too lonely to be the correct path and retraced our tracks to find the route again...
