工程表の「ステップ１」達成、１９日発表へ
政府と東京電力は、福島第一原発で原子炉の安定冷却を始めることを目標とした工程表の「ステップ１」を達成したと１９日に発表する方針。汚染水を浄化し原子炉の冷却に使う「循環注水冷却」のシステムが安定して稼働していることから、目標は達成可能と判断。
