浸大校長陳新滋履新 強調校方不應有政治立場
今日履新的浸大校長陳新滋表示，對浸會大學充滿感情，亦十分認同學校「全人教育」的理念。 陳新滋表示，校方不應有政治立場，應該聆聽各方意見。 對於應否在校園內擺放孫中山先生銅像等塑像，他說，校方是以「學校規律」為原則，並非與政治取態有關。他又希望，學生能熱心政治及社會工作。 另外，陳新滋表示，校方正向政府申請土地，興建新宿舍，亦將會在2013年和2014年在將軍澳落實聯合宿舍計劃，提供150個宿位，但他認為，宿位數目仍不敷應用。
