BSU Football Alumni Golf Outing
The Ball State University football program held its annual Raymond A. Louthen Memorial Golf Outing June 3, at the Players Club located in Yorktown, Ind. "The staff and I enjoyed connecting with so many of our football alumni at the golf outing," said head football coach Pete Lembo. "The weather was perfect and the course was in excellent condition. It was great to see so many different generations of football alumni represented. Life is ever-changing, but the football program is the one constant that binds us all together. We hope to grow participation at next year’s outing." Former football players Jim Micklos, Kyle West, Phil Donahue, Rick Scott and Mike Lecklider shot a 16-under par 56 to win the golf outing out of 18 total groups. West also won closest to the pin along with Scott Randolph. Former quarterback and assistant coach Joey Lynch had the longest drive.
