It’s Hard To Beat Perfect Attendance
iReport — One of the characteristics of older generations was their dependability. They learned moral guidelines and lessons early in life that were ingrained in them for life. One important touchstone of a person’s dependability can be traced to their school attendance. Many parents can point proudly to attendance awards that their children have received for a semester or perhaps a years' perfect attendance. Very few can point to an award for 12 years perfect attendance. That's 12 years of attendance without either absences or tardies. With illnesses, weather and other day to day issues, it's almost inconceivable that anyone could possibly attain such an accomplishment. Enter Milton Courtney of Konawa, OK. This humble octogenarian was one of the few who did just that. See his video interview as he is asked about this award and talks about his wife of 61 years marriage.
