Volunteer tax preparation services will be available throughout the surrounding Mobile area starting Saturday and running for the next several weeks. If you need help with your taxes, volunteers are standing by to help. VITA, or volunteer income tax assistance volunteers kicked off their first super Saturday today. Mobile Community Action and other agencies are teaming up to give free tax help on Saturday and throughout the week in some locations. If you make less than $50,000 a year you could qualify for the earned income tax credit. Otherwise you could still get help from volunteers.
