Inspiration for the Opel/Vauxhall GTC Paris was partly drawn from a quote from Richard Bach’s famous novel, Jonathan Livingston Seagull “…and the speed was pure beauty.” The phrase is embodied throughout the character of the sporty compact three-door hatchback.
