Viacom’s (NYSE:VIA.B) Paramount will start producing one animated film a year in 2014 via the launch of it's new unit, Paramount Animation.Paramount's distribution relationship with DreamWorks Animation (NASDAQ:DWA), which ends at the close of 2012, is brought into question because of this announcement.A Paramount executive commented, "We did offer them a one-year extension on the same termsof what we have. Given everything else that we have going on, it's the only thing that makes sense for us."Viacom has a potential upside of 9.8% based on a current price of $52.14 and an average consensus analyst price target of $57.24.
