The Project – The Wall is History, Long Live the Wall Dominoes The Berlin Wall may be gone, but walls still separate peoples around the globe. Now Germany’s Goethe Institut has commissioned young people and artists in South Korea, the Palestinian territories, Israel, Mexico, China and Yemen to create huge domino tiles out of polystyrene. On November 9, the tiles will be used in an enormous domino toppling event to mark the anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall.
