Oil spill threatens Goa beaches
The oil slick off the coast of Karwar has spread to Palolem and Canacona in south Goa. The spill was caused by the breaking up of the Panamanian cargo vessel Ocean Seray on Saturday after it hit an island Oyster Rock on its way to Karwar port.
