Wanted: Global Recruits
German companies are looking for highly qualified personnel from abroad – but it’s proving a serious challenge. Red tape and the language barrier are deterring potential employees.The German Economy is desperately seeking to recruit – and keep hold of – experts from other countries. The University of Heidelberg alone currently has over 880 PhD candidates from abroad – but of little avail to companies.   Report by Marion Hütter.
