ESRB Ratings
The ESRB assigns the age and content ratings that appear on computer and video game packaging, and offers “rating summaries” online to provide consumers with supplemental detail about content in a game that factored into the rating assigned. To make rating summaries available on the go – especially at the store, where a parent is most likely to be deciding whether a game is appropriate for their child – ESRB offers this free, easy to use iPhone app. Users search titles to find rating summaries for those games that have them, making sure their decision about a game’s suitability for their child is an informed one.
