The latest release of Real Racing 2 HD introduces 1080p output over HDMI. The new version 1.1 adds 1080p out on the iPad 2, which effectively allows users to play the game on an HDTV. Gamers can use the iPad 2 as a strearing wheel while watching the gameplay on the TV. On the iPad 2 display, users can see map data as a secondary heads up display.  The game promises 30 frames per second and full 1920x1080 resolution. To achieve the output, gamers use Apple’s Digital AV Adapter which goes from the 30-pin connector to HDMI. The adapter also sends along game audio.
