Mad Rush — Lauri “Late” Piippola and Jorma Lukkarinen are former professional criminals who are both trying to get used to an honest, crime-free life. However, in the face of adversities, their belief in honest work starts to crumble, and coincidentally, they get a chance to do an easy job. Veera, a dodgy entrepreneur involved in the tracking business, has been given an assignment by Mr Polikov to find a stolen notebook. The book gives its holder access to big money and must be snatched back before the thief, Viki, leaves the country. With Late and Jorma’s help, Veera sets off to hunt the book. Along the way, the trio has many mishaps and overcomes a few hurdles, while trying to avoid Viki who is following them.  During just one day, the trio meets one colourful character after another, such as Leena, a country girl longing for an adventure, and the eccentric Aunt Sylvi and her friends. They also find out how to switch on an electric fence and how good an idea it is to fill a car up with pure vodka. And it is revealed what the vicar spots with his telescope, and most importantly, who gets the notebook and the money in the end. Mad Rush is a fast-paced crime comedy with an eventful plot that carries the viewer through idyllic summer scenery. The eccentric characters and peculiar incidents guarantee a good laugh, keep you in suspense and above all, leave you with a good vibe even after the film has ended.
