Bericht vom 02.05.2011: Der argentinische Schriftsteller Ernesto Sabato ist am 30. April 2011 im Alter von 99 Jahren in seinem Haus bei Buenos Aires gestorben. Der Autor habe in den vergangenen Wochen an einer Bronchitis gelitten, der er angesichts seines hohen Alters und seiner allgemeinen Gebrechlichkeit nicht habe standhalten können, sagte seine Lebensgefährtin Elvira González Fraga.
