iReport — In this video, real estate attorney Hugh Fitzpatrick discusses electronic land recordings in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Under our current system, you can electronic record documents in Middlesex, Plymouth, Hampden counties. We have been advocating for the government to open up land recordings in all other counties in Massachusetts. Secretary Glavin, who oversees the state run registries, says that they will introduce this technology as the budget allows. We have been of the opinion that introducing this technology will decrease the budget. Technology can be a cost effective tool for government.
