諛뺤꽭以 泥쇰줈 Beethoven Son.No 3
Bethoven Cello Sonata No 3 (1st Mov.) In a sense, Art is a mixture of imitation. So, I let him play with a great cellist and pianist for a change and for fun tonight. I wonder if anyone of viewers can guess who they are. Even at the Juilliard, some professors were for it and others against it. For instance, Alexander Schneider (a great violinist) hugged my son after the audition for The New York String Orch, saying " Oh, you are great! But what you should do in the future is to listen to Casals who is one of my best friends." I was almost aghast because my son had played Bach Suite No3 with Casals on CD hundreds of times in the dark basement after his teacher’s permission. I think almost nobody knows who imitates whom. Nothing is new under the Sun.
