News splash: the Italian boat-building brand is still making waves. Riva has crewed up with another luxury giant to create the Aquariva by Gucci. To the main structure, designed by Riva’s long-term collaborator Officina Italiana Design, Gucci’s Frida Giannini has added a green hue to the crystal windshield, customised the coverings with the classic Guccissima pattern, and even selected a particular shade of white for the fibreglass hull, which comes with a plimsoll line in the fashion house’s signature red and green.
