Prof Parulekar speaks about the NCIC and the interim results of their study, carried out in partnership with the UK Medical Research Council, into the impact of radiotherapy on patients with high risk localised prostate cancer. The results show that radiotherapy in combination with hormone therapy significantly improves outcome when compared to hormone therapy alone.
