Unidentified assailants shot at Maddelacheruvu Suryanarayana Reddy alias Suri, the prime accused in the murder of TDP MLA Paritala Ravi, at Yousufguda area on Monday evening (January 3), police said. The assailants fired at Suri while he was travelling in his car after meeting his advocate at Navodaya Colony in Yousufguda at around 4 PM, Hyderabad Commissioner of Police A K Khan told reporters, adding, Suri was immediately rushed to a corporate hospital with serious bullet injuries and has been admitted in the ICU.
