For many Australians, election turned into a drama
For many Australians, their election has turned into a drama worthy of an opera, or at least a soap opera. There’s Julia Gillard the country's first female Prime Minister who's risked everything by calling an early election, just a few weeks into office. The ex-leader, Kevin Rudd knifed in the back by his party then called on to help campaign. And the opposition wannabe leader Tony Abbott known as the Mad Monk for having trained as a Catholic priest.
