Theodore C. Sorenson served as special counsel and advisor to President John F. Kennedy, and was the president’s most prominent and prolific speech writer. He practiced international law for over thirty-six years as a senior partner at the law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton and Garrison LLP, where he is now of counsel. He is a widely published author on the presidency and foreign affairs, and his works include "Decision Making in the White House," "Kennedy," "The Kennedy Legacy," and "Why I Am a Democrat."
