This is one of many short video segments which will be added to the Digital Tipping Point (DTP) archive.  The first few minutes of segment 001 of this two-segment series features b-roll footage of robots manufactured by Kawada Industries of Japan. The bulk of these two segments, though, features Chris Prahacs, a research scientist at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Chris is a research scientist at McGill who was responsible for the project that resulted in the swimming robots that are depicted in the video running behind Chris as we shot this interview. The robots were funded by DARPA, which is the United States Defense Advance Research Agency, the same agency that create ARPANET, which was the precursor to the Internet!
