Query Processing in Sensor Networks
Many of the emerging applications for sensor networks are focused on data collection and monitoring in remote environments. Samuel Madden, UC-Berkeley, discusses how the difficulties of coding power-management, routing and storage features in volatile distributed environments can be overcome by providing users with a simple, declarative interface. Madden also summarizes the query processing features of TinyDB. From the Series:CSE Colloquia - 2003
