Obama says US Acted to Prevent Massacre in Libya
U.S. President Barack Obama used a nationally televised address Monday night to defend his decision to use military force in Libya. President Obama said the United States and the international community intervened in Libya to stop a massacre and end Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi’s brutal repression of his people.
