BEAVERTON, Ore. – A Beaverton man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly raping a woman at his apartment and cutting her several times with a sharp object before she escaped.  Police said Mohamed Garare, 19, raped the woman in his apartment on Conestoga Drive. The 22-year-old woman had cuts all over her body. Police said the man used a “sharp object” to slash her. The woman managed to ge More..t away and ran to a nearby business where she called 9-1-1. “When she saw an opening she ran out of the apartment and she ran to get help,” said Detective Pam Yazzolino of the Beaverton Police Department. The woman was released from the hospital and was recovering at home Wednesday morning. Garare was arrested a short time later.
