Judging that further involvement with Eugene is dangerous, Lee-leng locks Kajika up in her room. Eugene, however, isn’t inclined to accept Lee-Ieng’s terms. That night, right before Lee-leng’s, Eugene takes Kajika away. The two arrive at Eugene’s father’s second home and spend a short time talking. Sensing that Eugene doesn’t value himself, Kajika tells him her thoughts and feelings. Then, they hear some commotion, when Eugene’s brothers appear.
