葉桂榮：「我本身患的是小兒麻痺症，所以我在十一歲之前都是失學的，完全沒有接受過教育，我當時的感覺是連垃圾都不如，是我媽媽的一句話，她一直叫我不要放棄自己，你不靠自己是沒本事站出來的，想起媽媽這句話，反而令我多了一份鬥志，鼓起勇氣考進私立中學，讀中學的時候，我連廿六個英文字母先後次序都記不住，但今時今日，簡單的一封英文信我都可以應付，積極是人生，努力是進取，裝備自己，迎接下一個巨浪。」
