Fake Musket Robbery Attempt
Tweet December 22, 2010 — The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is requesting the assistance of the general public in providing information regarding the persons responsible for an armed robbery which occurred on December 18, 2010 at the Super 8 Motel on Higgins Line in St. John’s, Newfoundland. At approximately 5:56 pm on Saturday, December 18, RNC Street Patrol Officers responded to an armed ro More..bbery at the Super 8 Motel located at 175 Higgins Line. Two male suspects, one armed with a musket entered the Motel and demanded money from the front desk clerk. The first male suspect appears to be approximately 110 pounds, 5'0" tall, dirty blond hair, light complexion and possibly acne on his face. He was wearing a ¾ length winter coat, dark hat with a red bib worn backwards and a red t-shirt which was used to conceal his face. The second suspect appears to be approximately 5'4" tall, slight stature, wearing a dark splash coat and dark pants. The RNC General Investigation Unit is continuing to investigate this attempted armed robbery and is seeking the assistance of the general public.
