Robotic Surgery
Jean-Claude Latombe talks about his work with robots, which sense, plan, and act in both real and virtual worlds, including a robot that performs brain surgery. Other applications of his work include mobile robots that map buildings and find and track moving objects, and graphic animation software that controls digital actors in virtual environments.
