Going on vacation should be fun. No one wants to get out on the road and have problems. Nothing ruins a trip faster than unexpected problems with car or camper. Therefore, it is important to do these three things before each and every road trip. Check the height of the oil, as this may sound strange, controlling for the oil is very important, especially in a long journey. When you consider that you could be traveling one thousand, two thousand or more miles, it starts to make more sense. Whether you go pull the caravan or motor home, your oil is working hard on a journey.  If the oil breaks down, the entire trip can be ruined. It is therefore important to check to ensure that enough oil and must not be changed. Check the Fluids If you go to a professional oil change place, they will check all your fluids for you. However, if you changed your oil before the trip, they themselves must. First, check the water. Fill with antifreeze, if necessary. You don’t want your car to overheat or freeze up while on the road. Next, check your transmission fluid. Makes sure it is topped off, as you don't want to slip gears while on the road. Finally, check the power steering and washer fluid. While both of these are minor, they can become major in a hurry. If the power steering goes, it's hard to return the vehicle. Additionally, if mud, rain or bugs start blocking your view, you will want to be able to clean the windshield for better viewing and safety. Check the tires, no guarantees would be complete without examining tires. You need to check they are properly inflated, as many tires will lose some air from driving and just sitting. In addition, you want to check the tread. Use the old penny test for a quick check. Insert a penny upside down and you can see Lincoln's head, it is time to change. Finally, check the age of the tire. You should have a four-digit mark on the side wall. The last two digits represent the year. RV tires are only good for 6 years. There...
