Srikrishna Janmashtami from Jia Sarai Civilization on the zenith of its development .Mankind is advancing forward with each passing day but is very much attached to its culture and roots- which gets reflected in festivals celebrated by from time to time.  I am right now enjoying and witnessing one such blissful evening at Jia Sarai village, in the very heart of metropolitan city New Delhi. Everyone over here is waiting eagerly for the mid night - a time which will witness the divine appearance of the Lord Sri Krishna - their beloved God -famously known as Makhanchor (the butter thief). Just a few hours to go for mid night and the environment coming into rhythm with dancing, singing and enjoying with colorful ethnic dresses. There were lots of programme being presented by children and enjoyed by all age group alike. At the mid night when clock sriked 12:00 people welcomed the birth of Lord Sri Krishna with traditional ‘Aarti’ and then prasadam was distributed.
