PrimeTime Politics The man responsible for security at this summer’s G8 and G20 summits appeared before a parliamentary committee this morning to discuss the costs. We get reaction to Ward Elcock’s testimony from three MPs on the government operations and estimates committee: Liberal Siobhan Coady, New Democrat Pat Martin, and Conservative Chris Warkentin. Disturbing evidence against Col. Russell Williams continue to emerge from an Ontario courtroom. Col. (ret’d) Michel Drapeau, military analyst and lawyer, discusses the larger issues surrounding the case – especially Williams’ pension and morale in the Canadian Forces. Immigration Minister Jason Kenney joins Martin Stringer for a conversation on Canada’s immigration levels, human smuggling legislation, and multiculturalism here and abroad.
