The third round still goes on.  Mai summons THE WINGED DRAGON OF RA that she has taken from Marik. Everyone wonders why it has a different shape from the one Odion summoned. But she cannot control its power because she cannot read the hieroglyph that appears on the card. Then Marik plays HOLDING ARMS and HOLDING LEGS (new cards) to hold her on RELIEF OF UJAT (not sure if this is a card) that appears behind her. Marik is feeling comfortable with the duel and says he’s starting the Ritual Of Sacrifice To The Darkness. He reads the hieroglyphs that Mai cannot read aloud and activates WINGED DRAGON OF RA. He tries to burn Mai to death. In dark duels, the damages become real. Yami-Marik tells how he was born and how Odion suppressed him. What he wants to do is destroy everything.As WINGED DRAGON OF RA attacks Mai, Joey jumps on the ring to save her and Yami-Yugi follows him to help them. He receives an attack saying he is going to send Yami-Marik back to darkness. Yami-Marik wins the duel and tells Joey that he is going to kill Yami-Yugi in the ultimate dark duel. Yami-Mariku erases all Mai's memory saying it is the punishment for the loser.
