New Zealand remains largely free of genetic engineering and modification mainly due to the opposition of the people and the Maori Indigenous culture. Releasing genetically engineered (GE) organisms into our food, fields and environment poses risks to future generations and ours that are unnecessary, unwanted and irreversible.  This film explains the reasoning behind the indigenous opposition and the power of the people on the street who have kept this country free of GE.
