ビーチバレー東京オープン開幕 浅尾美和選手らが試合前に東日本大震災復興の募金活動
ビーチバレーも東日本大震災の復興支援に乗り出した。6日、ツアーの第1戦、東京オープンが開幕し、選手たちが募金箱を持った。東京・台場で、浅尾美和選手(25)らが、試合前に募金箱を持ち、今シーズンのツアー開幕戦がスタート。この大会には、福島県の被災者23人が招待された。大会は、8日まで行われる。招待された人は「初めてなんです、(ビーチバレー)見るの。大変感動しました」と話した。
