荃灣墮樓男童重傷危殆 母親涉疏忽被捕
一名5歲男童在荃灣福來墮樓，雙腳受傷，現時在瑪嘉烈醫院留醫，情況危殆。 警方相信他被獨留在家，男童的36歲母親涉嫌疏忽，被警方拘捕，現時仍被扣查。 事發在早上9時許，現場是福來永興樓。 街坊表示，男童一家是新移民，上月才遷至福來。 學者說，託兒服務嚴重不足，新移民往往不知道獨留兒童在家的嚴重性，當局必須盡快改善配套及宣傳。 香港家庭福利會認為，要增加暫託名額，及提高受助兒童的年齡限制。
