No Chrome for Google Tablets
Don’t expect Google's (NASDAQ:GOOG) new operating system Chrome to hit the tablet anytime soon. The company said this morning that it will keep its focus on notebooks, and has no immediate plans to bring the OS to tablets or merge it with the company's popular Android software for smartphones. According to a statement released today by Google at the Computex PC Show in Taiwan, Chrome user numbers have doubled over the past year to 160 million. Google has a potential upside of 35.2% based on a current price of $526.6 and an average consensus analyst price target of $711.8.
